Air Ducts & Dryer Vents
Air Ducts Most people don’t realize that Air ducts are a crucial component of your HVAC system. Your air ducts are responsible for circulating air throughout your home or office. Over time, air ducts can become clogged with dust, dirt, and other debris, reducing the efficiency of your HVAC system and potentially causing health problems for those who breathe in the contaminated air.
At St1m & Clean, we use state-of-the-art equipment and techniques to thoroughly clean and sanitize your air ducts, improving the air quality in your home or place of business. It also helps increase the efficiency of your HVAC system. Our technicians are highly trained and experienced in all aspects of air duct cleaning, and we make sure to do our due diligence in protecting your home or office during the cleaning process.
Dryer Vents You might have been noticing that your dryer is taking longer and longer to fully dry your clothes. Most people call out an appliance company to fix their dryer, but what is actually happening is that dryers can stop functioning properly because of lint buildup in your dryer vent.
During the process of dryer vent (also called dryer duct) cleaning, the 4-inch duct that runs from behind your dryer to the exterior of your home is being cleaned. While some dryer vents go up and vent out on the roof, some ducts go down and vent out under the house, and others vent out on the side of the house.
We clean this out by feeding our specialized tools into the duct. This not only cleans the length of the duct, but also ensures that the lint build up is actually loosened and removed.
